What is OptWhale?
OptWhale is a premium trading and investing community platform offering real-time options flow data, dark pool analytics, AI-powered market intelligence, live trade alerts from MJ, and a collaborative chat environment for serious traders.
What subscription plans are available?
We offer three monthly plans: Starter ($249/mo) for core access to chat, alerts, and market data; Pro ($599/mo) adding advanced options flow, dark pool analytics, and AI market briefs; and Elite ($999/mo) for the full platform including priority support, exclusive channels, and institutional-grade tools.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account Settings page within the platform. Navigate to Settings, then Billing, and click "Cancel Subscription." Your access will continue through the end of your current billing period.
Is OptWhale financial advice?
No. OptWhale is an informational and educational platform. All trade alerts, options flow data, analysis, and community discussions are for educational purposes only. Nothing on the platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Always do your own research and consult a licensed financial advisor.
What kind of trade alerts will I receive?
MJ posts real-time trade alerts in the trading chat channel, including entry prices, target prices, stop losses, and rationale. Alerts cover options plays, equity positions, and swing trades. You will also receive real-time notifications for unusual options activity and dark pool signals.
Can I access OptWhale on mobile?
Yes. OptWhale is a fully responsive web application that works on all devices. You can also install it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your phone for a native app-like experience with push notifications.
What data sources does OptWhale use?
We aggregate data from multiple institutional-grade sources to deliver real-time options flow, dark pool transactions, market indices, earnings data, congressional trading disclosures, short interest, and more. Our data is updated in real-time during market hours.
How do I get a refund?
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the platform, please contact us at support@optwhale.com within 7 days and we will review your case. We want every member to get full value from the platform.
